Latest Review :: Kate & Adam 6.18.11

Kate & Adam hired us for Wedding Day Coordination, here's what they had to say about our services:

"Sumer, you were a GEM!!! Seriously, I couldn't have done it without you. Being an out-of-town bride made me apprehensive from the start. I had such a specific vision for the design of the wedding, and I had put so much thought and effort into the elements – and I really needed you to bring it all to fruition and organize my thoughts in the crucial final stretch. Adam and I were rehashing the wedding over the honeymoon (of course!) and we said if we could change one thing, we would have just spared me the time and energy and hired you for full-service planning. Coming from a control freak like me, that is the highest compliment! Thank you so much for all of your hard work! All of the "insiders" at the wedding (the BMs, my parents, etc.) were raving about how together and level-headed you were the entire time. Your services were truly top-notch, and Adam and I are so happy we hired you!"

P.S. Lots of yummy detail photos from Kate & Adam's wedding coming up on the blog soon! Stay tuned!

Skeleton Key Wedding Inspiration

Sometimes, the most simplest of things can make for such interesting displays. Enter...the skeleton key. Little known fact: I am obsessed with skeleton keys. I've had my eye on a Tiffany skeleton key necklace for quite some time now. Hint, hint dear husband of mine ;) Anyways, the skeleton key made a quick appearance on the blog with this creative save-the-date last February, but today I wanted to share some other unique ways you can incorporate the skeleton key into your wedding. I'm sure many of you have seen the skeleton key escort card display (pictured above), but did you know you can also use them in your bouquet, guestbook, and even have skeleton key inspired stationery created? Are you incorporating the skeleton key into your wedding? If so, we want to hear all about it!

Giselle in Ireland.

Rionnach sent me these lovely photos of her April wedding in Ireland. The bride wore "Giselle" (with a dear little pink cardigan). Isn't she gorgeous?

Love Ellie's photos of her wearing the Alençon lace shrug. Plus, as readers of this blog know, I do like a horse.

For the birds.

Elyse is laughing in almost every single one of her wedding photos, and she certainly didn't let a little birdseed in her hair ruin her day. Lovely and happy in Oysters & Pearls. Thanks, Elyse!

A bit of ruffle.

One of my ruffle boleros dressed up Heather's wedding. I love a girl who knows how to pop her collar.
